Gabriel joined British Airways in June 2026 as Chief Financial and Transformation Officer, bringing extensive international experience across finance, customer, transformation and technology. Prior to joining, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Iberia from 2024, following a series of senior leadership roles spanning finance, customer, transformation and technology.
Gabriel joined Iberia in 2014, leading Financial Planning & Analysis, before taking on responsibility for the airline’s transformation programme, 'Plan de Futuro', from 2016, and joining Iberia’s Management Committee in 2017. In subsequent roles, he led customer, transformation and Data & AI functions and founded Iberia Tech, the airline’s technology division, helping to accelerate digital transformation across the business.
