This follows British Airways’ frequency boost for popular U.S. destinations this summer, including Miami, San Diego and Austin.
British Airways will be touching down in St. Louis, Missouri, for customers looking to book their next trip across the pond. The new direct service to London Heathrow will provide customers with greater access and premium service to the U.K. and beyond.
The new route makes British Airways the only U.K. airline to offer direct flights to and from St. Louis. Home to the iconic Gateway Arch, St. Louis will officially become the airline’s 27th U.S. destination from London.
With this new route, customers have access to one of the world’s most extensive global networks. Flights will begin on April 19, 2026, and operate four times per week throughout the summer season.
St. Louis based customers are now just a convenient non-stop flight away from the U.K.’s capital city and all the iconic attractions London has to offer. From sightseeing the ‘Big Ben’, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, to exploring tourist hot spots like Borough Market, Shoreditch, Battersea and Notting Hill, there’s something for every kind of traveler.
Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said: “We’re thrilled to be adding St. Louis to our U.S. network – a city known for its proud history, vibrant culture, and growing demand for international travel. As the only nonstop flight to the U.K., this new service makes it easier than ever for travelers across the Midwest to connect with London and beyond, while also welcoming more customers to experience everything St. Louis has to offer.”
Customers have a choice of three cabins – World Traveller (economy), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and Club World (business class) – with introductory fares beginning at $599*, on sale today. Customers can also save $100 on many London vacation package bookings made before October 8, 2025**.
Customers in Club World will be able to experience the airline’s latest business class seat, Club Suite, on selected flights, offering personal space with direct aisle access, a full flat bed and a 17” high-resolution screen for entertainment. The cabin also features a brasserie-style dining experience, with a choice of freshly prepared starters, mains, desserts and cheeses.
For British Airways customers who will be arriving in St. Louis, the launch of this route coincides with the 100th anniversary of Route 66 – the legendary highway that begins in Chicago and winds through St. Louis on its way to Los Angeles. The city’s stretch of the “Mother Road” is packed with Americana charm, from vintage diners and neon signs to historic motels and roadside attractions, offering the perfect starting point for travellers seeking a classic U.S. road trip experience.
The service will also benefit from the Atlantic Joint Business partnership with American Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, Aer Lingus and LEVEL, offering seamless connections and competitive fares across Europe and North America.
Elsewhere in the U.S., British Airways has announced increased service to London Gatwick and Heathrow for summer 2026, giving customers more choice and flexibility when planning their next trip. The airline will reintroduce its double-daily service from Miami International Airport to London Heathrow, alongside daily service from Dallas-Fort Worth. Las Vegas will also see an increase from 10 to 13 flights per week, while San Diego and Austin will both be upgraded to 14 weekly flights.
