  • Members of the British Airways Executive Club can collect double Avios when they book by December 13, 2019, and fly by June 30, 2020
  • Promotion available to global customers and applies across all routes and cabins
  • Executive Club Members in the UK also get double Avios on British Airways Holidays

Wednesday September 18, 2019 – Members of the British Airways Executive Club can now collect double the Avios when they fly, thanks to the latest offer from the airline.

Launching today, customers can collect double Avios on flights that are booked by December 13, 2019 and flown by June 30, 2020 – a much longer travel window than with previous promotions. Customers must register for the offer before booking, which can be done here, and be a Member of the British Airways Executive Club, which is free to join.

The promotion is running on flights across all routes and cabins and can be collected on up to 10 flights. In the UK, Members will also benefit from double Avios with British Airways Holidays, collecting two Avios for every £1 spent.

During the offer period, customers would earn 500 Avios for Edinburgh, 3,460 for New York – JFK and 4,212 for Barbados, based on an Economy (Euro Traveller or World Traveller) return trip.*

These bonus Avios can be spent in the same way as normal Avios, including on Reward flights, upgrades, hotels, car rental and being used for part payment, allowing customers to cut the cost of future flights. When using Avios part payment, customers can pick from a range of savings by destination and cabin. In doing so, Members can still collect Avios and Tier Points on their bookings.

Niall Rooney, Loyalty Manager at British Airways, said: “The British Airways Executive Club is a great way for customers to receive rewards through their flying, and this latest promotion helps Members to build their Avios balances quickly.  In turn they can use these balances on another flight, upgrades, hotels, car rental or even food on board.”

British Airways is investing £6.5 billion for its customers over five years, taking delivery of 73 new aircraft including A350 and 787s, refurbishing its long-haul fleet with new cabins so they look and feel new, introducing new, redesigned lounges, new dining across all cabins, new bedding and amenity kits for First, Club World and World Traveller Plus, best quality onboard WiFi to every aircraft and providing access to power at every aircraft seat. The airline recently introduced its Club Suite, a new business class seat with direct aisle access on its A350 aircraft, which will be rolled out across the British Airways' long-haul fleet over the next few years.
